With specialized training in esthetics and beauty, she brings a unique blend of skills to her work. Kawena is committed to making a positive impact on her clients' lives, helping them feel their best both inside and out. Her enthusiasm for beauty and wellness drives her to continuously learn and grow in her field, ensuring that she stays up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.
Cianna is knowledgeable about all of our treatments and procedures and can assist you with appointments, pricing, or other concerns. She is extremely capable and enthusiastic about quality patient care and strives to ensure that you have an excellent experience at our office. She joined our team in 2023 coming from a long history of customer service and patient care in oral surgery. Born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui, May cherishes quality time with her son, exploring new destinations, and capturing life's moments through photography. Since the very beginning in 2020, May has been an integral part of Ivey Plastic Surgery. A 2013 graduate of Heald College with an associate degree in applied science in medical assisting, May's career spans diverse healthcare settings, including family practice, pain management, urgent care, behavioral health, and general surgery. "My work as a medical and surgical technician demands precision and a caring touch," she shares. "I thrive on the hands-on, patient-centered nature of my role, especially seeing how our work in beauty and aesthetics brings so much happiness to our patients." At Ivey Plastic Surgery, the focus is on delivering exceptional patient care and achieving remarkable results.
Gretchen coordinates consultations and schedules procedures. She serves as the first point of contact when patients’ call in to schedule a consultation, and then guides them through our process, answering questions along the way, and making sure that the entire experience is as seamless as possible. She has been a member of our team since 2020. She believes that understanding the patient’s needs and making sure they feel comfortable are of utmost importance. Gretchen obtained her Masters Degree in Human Relations and has 30 years of customer service experience. She loves meeting new people and building strong long-lasting relationships to ensure an exceptional experience for all new and existing patients. She is enthusiastic about getting to know each patient, and enjoys connecting with new people everyday. She feels very grateful to play a vital role in helping patients gain a greater sense of well being and confidence.
Gerusa was born in Brazil, raised in California, and has called Maui home for over two decades. Her path into the world of aesthetics began with the quiet intention of serving others. She opened a private practice in one of Maui’s top salons, and later, shared her knowledge as an educator at Spa Luna School for Estheticians, guiding others in their journey toward mastery.As the years unfolded, Gerusa’s love for medical-grade aesthetics grew, leading her to become a skilled Laser Technician and Medical Esthetician. Her work, built on precision and care, quickly earned her a reputation as one of Maui’s most trusted providers. She honed her craft alongside doctors and injectors, and in 2025, her journey deepened when she graduated as a Nurse, bringing her vision of holistic care to its fullest expression.
Emily was born and raised in Makawao, Maui. She attended the University of Portland where she got her bachelor’s of science in nursing. After graduating, she returned home and worked in urgent care for five years before joining the Ivey Plastic Surgery Team.
Emily ensures the highest standards of patient care and safety. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for nursing, she fosters a culture of teamwork and hopes to continue to improve and build with the medical team to provide the best care to our patients. In her free time Emily enjoys hunting, running and spending time with her family.
